Participa regularmente em exposições, simpósios e workshops nacionais e internacionais.
O meu trabalho parte de fragmentos e de um impulso inevitável de os organizar, de os agrupar. Atrai-me a ideia de que os fragmentos são, em simultâneo, vestígios de algo que se partiu, que perdeu a sua integridade, e matéria-prima para a construção de algo novo. Esta construção adquire um carácter de ritual no diálogo das mãos com os materiais e na procura de encaixes para cada fracção. A forma de cada nova peça é conduzida por este processo, ao encontro da criação de uma superfície sólida e, outra vez, estável que transporte para o corpo a protecção simbólica desta nova configuração.

My work begins with fragments and an inevitable urge to organize them, to group them back together. I'm attracted to the idea that fragments are traces of something that has been broken, that lost its integrity, but also a raw material for building something new. The dialogue of the hands with the materials and the quest for making each fraction fit turns into something of a ritual. The shape of each new jewellery piece is driven by this process, towards the creation of a solid and (again) stable surface that carries the symbolic protection of this new configuration to the body.
